Full steam ahead in 2019

It has been a busy couple of months at FireWorks HQ, working on so many incredible projects with our clients! Here's a little overview of what we've been up to.

Can you believe we are already halfway through March? It feels like just yesterday we were saying goodbye to 2018 and hello to three weeks holiday!

We returned back from break two months ago and it has been full steam ahead ever since.

As most of you know, Ruth left us at the end of last year for Japan to visit family over the holiday period and then onto Central America where she is having the time of her life.

Joining us in her place is Marnie whose transition into the role has been smooth and successful. Together with Kathy and Caz, the trio has already accomplished so much in the short space of time.

Over the summer, we had an overwhelming response to the Halliday Cellar Door series, which featured our AFFW families. The program was replayed a number of times over the summer on Channel 31 and Foxtel. The positivity has set the mood for what is a busy and very exciting year for AFFW as they are set to celebrate their 10th anniversary later this year. Our families will also be taking their wines overseas... more to come on that later.

Sticking with the wine theme, we are excited to be working with Mount Avoca again this year. Team FireWorks visited owner Matt Barry and winemaker David Darlow and together explored the grounds, tasting everything the winery has to offer.

We have been and seen the Pyrenees and now getting ready to work with the winery ahead of its 50th anniversary.

And there's nothing better with wine than an incredible lunch to go with it! We were licking our lips at the opening day of the Melbourne Food and Wine festival. Working for our longtime client and friends at Tahbilk, we took over their social media and shared this year's Longest Lunch with audiences around the country. Held at the Victoria Garden's in Prahran, Tahbilk was a proud sponsor of the event once again.

Not only have we rekindled with old clients but we have welcomed some new ones on board! We cannot wait to be working with the Robert Rose Foundation on an exciting upcoming project.

The official launch is just around the corner and we promise it will be a big one! Team FireWorks will be handling the event's public relations. We know it's just a tease for now, but it'll be worth the wait.

We are also working with McWilliam's on the prestigious Maurice O'Shea awards.

Finally, it couldn't be the start of the year without a little bit of personal development. Team FireWorks attended the Intrigue Summit at the end of February, gaining insight into the wonderful world of marketing, social media and innovation to help move businesses forward in the digital era.

As you can see, A LOT has been happening so far this year and we cannot wait to share it all with you as it falls into place! Stay turned via our blogs and social media. Be the first to find out what's going on in FireWorks world on Facebook and Instagram.
