Robert Rose Foundation
In March 2019, the Robert Rose Foundation announced its new 'Team 22' initiative.
The Robert Rose Foundation supports those with trauma spinal cord injuries. This support extends to their families and loved ones.
The foundation was named after former Collingwood Player, the late Robert Rose who became quadriplegic at the age of 22.
The Robert Rose Foundation was founded by Robert’s family 20 years ago in recognition of his zest for life before and after his debilitating injury.
The fundraising initiative launched on Friday, 12 April, ahead of the AFL's round four blockbuster Collingwood v Western Bulldogs.
The initiative raised vital funds and awareness for spinal cord injuries and those effected by it every day.
Team 22 also aims to shine light on the important role family and friends play in their loved one's lives post diagnosis and the power of two.
FireWorks PR worked alongside RRF and Team 22 in a short term, six week project driving media and publicity outcomes across the news, health and sport space.
