Our Assignment:

Arboria was a giant, blow-up labyrinth of winding tunnels and soaring domes, installed at Fed Square in January 2018 as part of their summer program of activities.

Inspired by the shapes, form and colours of the forest, Arboria was an interactive art experience that appealed to both the aural and visual senses. Arboria featured a series of luminous, tree-like structures and visitors were wrapped in a soundscape of the Ecuadorian Cloud Forest. It was an immersive experience.

Arboria was designed by Alan Parkinson of internationally acclaimed Architects of Air and was one of many ‘luminaria’ they have created.

For FireWorks PR, ticket sales was the main objective, so a PR and Communications Plan was devised including a call to action to drive ticket sales (where possible). Expected results included TV spots on all major channels, photos in major print metro media and articles/event listings in all major online cultural/event publications.

Our Success:

FireWorks PR created a comprehensive PR & Communications Plan including a series of ongoing activations that allowed for continued media exposure over the three week period of the installation. The activations were supported by dedicated media pitching securing some excellent publicity for Arboria.
